Overview of Services

The Whistler Centre for Sustainability is an innovative, mission-based non-profit organization offering consulting services to local governments and the tourism sector on sustainability planning, policy development, research and practices. Our service strategies are 1) Providing advisory services, 2) Education and Outreach, and 3) Research.

Focusing on our core areas of expertise, we deliver services to diverse communities, and tourism-related businesses and organizations. Our expertise in the niche areas of community and tourism sustainability emerges largely from our reputation and experience developing Whistler2020 - Whistler's integrated community sustainability plan, and Whistler's status as a premier destination resort community. This expertise has enabled us to provide consulting services to a number of communities and tourism enterprises in BC and Canada, providing clients with the strategic sustainability services and learning opportunities necessary for them to create and maintain a competitive advantage in the marketplace and to contribute to a sustainable future.
