Centre B.C. Convener for We Are Cities Initiative
The Centre is the BC convener for the We Are Cities initiative. Coordinated by Evergreen Cityworks and funded by the McConnell Foundation, ‘We Are Cities’ is a new initiative to engage Canadian citizens and organizations in roundtable discussions across the country to shape a new vision and action plan for how we can build livable cities – exciting and healthy places to live, work and play.
We encourage you to get involved with We Are Cities and look forward to hearing your ideas on how to build better cities.
We hosted two roundtables (Vancouver and Victoria) and are planning ones in Burnaby, White Rock, North Vancouver and Nanaimo. For more information on roundtable dates and locations, or how to host your own, please check the ‘We Are Cities’ website.
